Privacy
How Hollovar Labs software is built, and where each application's own policy can be read.

No Hollovar Labs application collects, stores or transmits personal data.
There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no third-party software development kits — in the Android applications, in the browser extensions, and on this website.
The rule these applications are built to
Privacy here is a build decision rather than a promise. Where a capability is not needed to do the job, it is not requested, so there is nothing to undertake not to do with it. An application that cannot reach the network cannot send your data anywhere, whatever any policy says.
In practice that means each application asks for the smallest set of permissions its one job requires, and states plainly what that set is. Anything an application does keep — your settings, your choices — stays in that application's own storage on your own device, and goes away when you clear its data or remove it.
What this applies to
- Android applications, distributed through Google Play. Their declared permissions are visible in the store listing and in the application's manifest.
- Browser extensions, distributed through their browser's own store. Their declared permissions and host access are visible on the store listing before you install, and in the extension's manifest afterwards.
- Windows desktop utilities, published as open source on GitHub. Their source is the declaration: anyone can read what they open, what they read and what they write, and the released builds come from a public build workflow.
Where a store requires a data safety or privacy declaration, the declaration says the same thing as the policy below it: no data collected, no data shared.
This page loads no fonts, scripts, analytics, trackers or resources from any other company's server. Everything it needs, including its typeface, is served from this domain. A site whose subject is privacy should not leak its visitors to a third party on the way to saying so. You can verify it in your browser's network panel in about ten seconds.
Application policies
Each application carries its own policy, describing exactly what it does on your device and what it asks for.

Any change to this page, or to an application's own policy, is published on the page it affects with an updated date at the top.
